Is it Germany’s turn to leave Europe?

After Britain, would it be Germany's turn to leave Europe?

This is certainly the plan of the Alternative Party for Germany (AfD). Indeed, this far-right party militates in this direction and has set up a program for an exit of the EU by Germany in view of the European elections at the end of May.

Although the movement's delegates stipulated that "Dexit" would only be used as a last resort, an exit program was still set up. The party calls for far-reaching reforms at EU level and will use the "Dexit" weapon as a means of pressure on other EU countries.

This is the first time since the end of the Second World War that a political party dares to question the country's membership of the EU. Nevertheless, the far-right party will have strong opposition because the majority of Germans (51%) are in favor and attached to Europe.
